I have a buddy with one, quiet guy not real big on the socials when it comes to the truck. The majority of his issues came from the trans. 1st shop did a terrible job on the first one with a piss poor warrantee. He ended up purchasing another rebuilt from a different shop. Almost sure he went with a stand alone ECU. He already had locked 60s so all the toyo tech for off roading was gone. He did all the work himself which cuts down on the costs sometimes more than 1/2. I think if I was to do an engine swap the LS would be option 2, 1st pic would be a 2jz for pure fun. Those are the 2 engines I wold price out to include trans, transfer and crawl box. He was still in the middle of wiring in this pic.
