    Sweet man.

I noticed you said you got water in the oil from the dipstick tube?
Was that because it was completely submersed underwater?

I think the OEM stick has a rubber o ring?
I’m going to guess that it is no where near water tight.

Yes sir. Ordered a used engine from Toyota which was from a totaled out Tacoma. And my stupid self didnt think to check all the seals. All together I blew 3 4.0 V6's im not happy about it. But only use the tacoma for off roading anyways. Wish i had all the videos up. But i always forget to film and or just wanna have fun.

I tryed to post pictures but, for some reason it keeps on kicking me. And saying unable to complete. Gonna try again. But the fastest way is to view the video. Only saying that because all the pictures i have is in that video. Not trying to scam you for views.

By the way guys. I know it doesn't look like it. But the 4.0l was 2times bigger the the ls 5.3. Because of the V shape. I should be headin back home sometime around July 20th soooo im goona try to post a running vid up here or my youtube channel.

Might try to 4.0 swap my 85 Toyota Hilux since I have a transmission and transfer case out of the tacoma with the original 66,000 miles idk yet y'all might kill me. I know the 22r is legendary

Hope this is how you reply to a comment. So I don't know if you could really see in one of the pictures. But the oil filter is literally right up on the front diff. So pretty much what we did was modify and relocate the oil filter.

We might be making & selling custom bolt in brackets for tacoma ls swap. Pretty much everything was custom made. Which takes forever. But who knows. Fabguy is just worried if there's actually a market for them. ( Oprah voice... you get a ls tacoma...you get a ls tacoma.... everyone gets a LS Swap tacoma ) :)

Yep all brackets or custom-made out of Steel. With the mind of typical Tacoma stuff ( jumping the Rig)
To be honest the only reason why I went with the ls platform. Is because it's so easy to pack on power. I have a friend that is currently doing a 5.7 Tundra swap into his 2gen tacoma. Youtube channel ( TacomAocalypse) wayyyy better then my channel for sure!

I’m kind of sad to say this but I bought mine a week ago and opened the hood for the first time about an hour ago, and this was the first thing I thought with electric fans it should fit no problem. So 10 year out plan or the new turbo 4. Nice build man!

Was trying to post up a video. But I guess you cant.

    Psi LS swap standalone.

As soon as I get my tune put on & exhaust finish. Going to post a video of the truck idling.
