I wanna turn my truck into a submarine. Anyone have any good suggestions on what parts I should get first?

If gas keeps the way it has been I might consider swapping in a geo metro motor.

15ish years ago I worked about 560 miles from my house and had a company apartment close to our office. I would come home for the weekends and at the time is cost me about $100 round trip for gas as part of the trip was through the mountains. Coupled with this it left my truck exposed to the elements all week as I drove a company vehicle when working. Long story short, I purchased a 3 cylinder Geo Metro sedan for $800. I could drive that round trip for $25. It was a lot of fun for one summer, we beat the hell out of it and treated it like crap then my ego made me switch back to driving the truck and I sold it for $1,200. It had 13" wheels and tires. I kinda wish I had it back.

I remember it did not have a cup holder larger enough for my buddies cup. One day he gets in and has one of those $2 plastic door hanger cup holders. He pulls out a drill and a screw and mounted it right to the center of the dash. Problem solved.

:rofl:I probably should have guessed that. Next week I’ll post about crappy Toyota quality because I’m having intermittent electrical problems. Then I’ll get mad when you guys blame me for driving my truck under water.
