Milled a 30* angle in some 1” UHMW plastic to serve as the bottom of the radiator mount to support the weight and dampen vibration.

@Pittsy depending on the exact measurements i might be able to do something for your console in sheet/flat metal. meaning something in the .04 to .08 thickness range. i work at a shop and i do 5axis laser stuff, mix of commercial and DoD things. would probly be like a couple of lunch breaks to program it then cut the piece out real quick. i know i have various material just sitting around from past jobs etcetc.. hm.

If you made a clean console with winters shifter, tcase shifters, switchpros 12, and a couple cup holders, and a rear footrest, that tied into the main dash, man that would be tight... I'd pay for one

My main issue is I haven't ordered a tcase yet. Probably going to get an atlas. I have an NP241 here but the gearing is not nearly low enough

well the item you have in mind im assuming is basically a flat plate, so id need outer dimensions and the various slots/pockets within it. you might want whats sometimes called a machinist scale, which is really just a 4 6 or 12 inch long ruler made of stainless steel and with higher precision markings. mitutoyo makes good ones. trying to work out your measurements with a tape measure often goes awry, as what i do on my machine at work would be down to the .001 and a tape measure is more like "gud-enuf" at least in my mind, hehe

I basically want to take my current center console and instead of it having weird edges and ridges I want the top of it to be flat.

i can do that np, easy stuff. all the measurements would have to be based on/relative to a certain point tho.. such as, upper left corner or whathaveyou.

then it comes down to how precise your measurements are. you could make something out of cardboard or something along those lines to double check or even serve as a template..

@Pittsy @planetbuster Let me know if I can help out with measurements, testing, etc. I have a waterjet at work and everything you need to take accurate measurements. We also have a VCM so if you make any templates, we can record those and create .DXF/cut files.

Ive decided to stop being a bitch and just pull the motor back out and completely reseal it. Im tired of these leaks and realistically the only way they get fixed is taking the motor back out. Im going to try and leave the transmission in the truck though. I'll get that done once the radiator mounts are all finished up.

since im not too bright, it just occurred to my dumb ass that i could take my lazy self out to my own truck and just LOOK at the center console and maybe work out some measurements..

Aight I just ordered HELLA shit for the LS6.

Sikky front sump oil pan, new dipstick, dipstick plug for the block dipstick hole, new ATI super damper, new ARP damper bolt, new front main seal, cover, and gasket, rear main seal, cover, and gasket, oil pan gasket, valve covers and gaskets, valley plate and gasket, steam port kit, intake gaskets. Basically, anything that can leak is being resealed. Should've done this from the beginning but oh well.

Im going to the last Reno Air races this week, so when I return I'll start yanking the motor out.
