Kids are portable. Do not hesitate to go off-roading with them. Of course be kind to their small, developing body and brain. But rear them in off-roading and it'll never go away.

Man, what a cool perspective. So many people are so uptight these days - being a parent, I get it.. to an extent. Let kids enjoy our 'big kid' activities, with supervision and safety precautions of course. That stuff builds memories that last a lifetime, and develops hobbies that will always keep them broke enough to not be able to afford drugs :cheers:

My one year old has been camping 35 nights so far. He did hells revenge in Moab at 4 months old, and a bunch of local wheeling here in BC. My wife takes him hiking or biking or swimming every week, and goes on camping trips during the week when I have to work. He's living his best life.

Of course we don't do the crazy obstacles with him in the truck, and try not to rally him too hard, but he will fall asleep in his car seat while I'm on the trail with the truck rocking all over. It's so funny.

    hahaha I like that. “Portable”

gonna let them be hellions and have fun like I did when I was kid. Jumping my bicycle off a plastic ramp and face planting. Let them do it while they’re bones are rubber

that’s awesome. That would be so cool if our kiddo is the same way. Would make nap times easier

Aint that the truth! I can't tell you how many times I ate it launching off a kicker ramp.. We had a neighbor get a dump truck load of dirt one time; they let us build a giant tabletop out of it, build tunnels through it, and just be kids in dirt until they needed to use it. Those were the best couple weeks! Thats when I learned how to accidentally backflip on a bike. I never did quite learn the landing part, unless it was upside down:anonymous: Its a wonder I never broke any bones, skateboarding down every road, stairset, having a 5' quarter pipe we'd drag into the road, and just causing all kinds of hell on wheels with our bikes. I can't imagine the person I would've become had my parents sat me down every day and glued me to a tablet (assuming they existed then) inside 24/7.
