Who’s the LS genius here? There are so many random ports on the top of the motor, near the throttle body, near the valve covers, that I don’t know what they do. Can anyone set me straight? Or is there s good resource to find out that info?

I have a new expansion valve and evaporator, condenser and stuff. I’ve been on the fence about pulling the dash out to replace it, but im thinking it wouldn’t be a bad idea. Would give me a chance to mount the Holley up on the firewall.

    ugh. So much work.

Hmmm, gaining headway. The oil pan is an Holley 302-1 and is setting about 3/4” to 1” above the 5 lug cross member. (Don’t *think* it’s different than the 6 lug cross member but I really don’t know!) Oh, and didn’t have to cut the upper radiator support with the Vette accessories installed to drop in the engine.

    Sir,
Again I truly don’t know what the difference is between the 3 models as far as the frame cross member/s.

    1. 6 lug 4x4
    2. 6 lug 4x2 (pre-runner)
    3. 5 lug base

This is stressful. Has anyone else done this and can give me some insight? I have to remove the crash bar from what it looks like. So much shit to remove to get to it.

As I started to dig deeper into the dash, the girlfriend comes home hootin and hollerin about her car leaking some kind of fluid. She dumped half her coolant out, so I spent the remainder of my night calling different autozones to find a radiator in stock. Swapped that baby out in an hour and a half and the dash progress continues…

Turns out you can buy the OEM Toyota key fob receiver plus the fob for like 150$ and have keyless entry. Time to rip out the dog shit viper system.

Since I am replacing the evaporator core, I'm going to replace the heater core too. Might as well since I'm in there. Probably going to paint the lower dash, the two tone isn't my jam.

This is giving me a really good chance to un-fuck everything the previous owner did, plus whatever I've piled on top.

Sorry, but did you try contacting Chris / @tacotunner06 about the AC? I’m pretty sure he has AC.

Chris any advice because I or should I say Andy will might need it too..
