    Why didnt they just use a caliper with the parking brake built in? I dont mean an electronic parking brake, im talking like the 2015 mustang GT where the caliper had a place for a cable to go and squeeze it closed.

    you can use a cutoff wheel and score it then a cold chisel to crack it. Takes a while and you have to be careful not to knick the axle.

    Yeah im trying to avoid that because I dont want to destroy that axle. Toyota says the die grinder and chisel are the correct method, but I dont want to risk it. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to try tonight, since it wont be 3AM.

    might be able to heat up the race as well and try and use the puller. Should expand faster than the axle since it has way less mass.

    Finally, done with the brake swap. The parking brake works incredibly well too, despite other kits not having the same success. Just need to bleed them tomorrow but I’m cashed out. 3 nights in a row up until 3.

    $1800 later, got the biggest radiator Ron Davis offers for an off the shelf product. This project needs to either be done, or needs to take a break. Ive been spending money recklessly on this. Kinda making me feel uneasy about the total cost of this project so far. I lost a ton of money in the supercharged lexus I had, and this is pretty much the same thing...

    They say to mount it between rails/tubing. In your style of build. Something that is quite rigid.
