@Dm93 VSS is VSS right? Like theoretically the VSS output of the Tacoma tcase should be the same as my GM tcase? I really want to get my odometer working again so I can track mileage easier.

The Holley dash has an odometer but I don’t have 2k to drop on it right now.

I want one module that’s able to control my ECT, RPM, and Speed all in one little package. The Holley knows all that info but it would be nice being able to make my odometer work right now. I also think it would make my life easier for getting the AC amplifier to work properly and be happy.

eh just depends on what you want, thing that sucks is to fully program you need dash maker which they charge $500 for... motec is a little out of hand on stuff, but they are one of the only digital dashes i know with a backup camera input.

Oh that’s cool. My OEM backup camera is still
Functional so. I just meant a full motec ECU and everything it was really spendy.

I’m gonna see if my buddy will help me 3d model a flat plate insert for my gauge cluster so it makes mounting easy of the screen.

oh yeah, and there pdm’s are really nice but ecumasters is like half the cost. If only haltech did there’s as a stand-alone I would have gotten there’s.

I feel like just sucking up and buying the Holley would make my life so much easier and simple.

I’ve got an appointment next week to get the truck aligned at Jax Motorsports in Gilbert. Gonna be a bit pricey, around 4-600$ he said. But I’ll never have to do another alignment again so.

Stopping at offthegrid solutions after work to get a quote on a center console being made. Gonna see what they can come up with. Came highly recommended from someone at work so we’ll see.

Well I’m thoroughly pissed off. I got my transfercase shifter installed tonight, the JB fab cable operated one. Re adjusted the Transmission shifter as well, much more engaging. I had to take the front driveshaft off to give myself some more room to work. While I had it off, I figured I’d replace the front output seal on my transfercase and I for the life of me cannot get the old seal out. I have the new seal install tool, but this thing won’t come out.

Should’ve started with the screw trick. Letting it drain. Also, with the new bumpers, the truck fits in the garage!!!!!!! Granted, it touches my toolbox and the rear is an inch from the garage door.

I think my neighbor is secretly reporting me to the HOA. Have to work in secret now.

waiting for the fluid to finish draining and I’ll reinstall the new seal.

here’s what the TCase shifter looks like:
    IMG_1100.jpg

Barely fits. It’s like i planned this out or something. I’ve been putting off installing it because I didn’t think it would fit.
