Will do. Guess the dude coming in from Texas drove straight through and just got here. He’s gonna crash out for a while while a buddy and I tinker on a few things and then probably head out this afternoon. At least that’s the latest plan

Gotcha. I got everything I need to hopefully get the truck good enough to rip this weekend. After breakfast we’ll head back and I’ll swap clamps out.

trying my best to be @snowsk8air2

Ryan was nice enough to let me come out and play in his sandbox this weekend and show me the ropes. Learned a lot about what to and what not to do. I’m so excited to come back out here and really start to dial in this truck. Not too bad for its first real long distance trip.

Truck worked real good today. And every time I checked my mirror you were right behind me. So either you were getting sketchy or kinda know how to drive. We’ll give ya the benefit of the doubt haha. Was great meeting you and the wife. Always good meeting like minded people and look forward to logging some more dirt miles with ya

About 5 miles from home, fuel pressure reads 0 and truck died during a 2nd gear pull. Gas gauge shows a quarter tank. I’m wondering if it’s inaccurate.

either that or my brand new DW340 from URD shit the bed.

glad it happened down here rather than this weekend in the cinders I suppose. Annoying it couldn’t have happened at home.

Panic is over; just a fuse.

Hey @Dm93, got a question for you.

@snowsk8air2 made me jealous with his working key fobs and now I want to focus on getting that working. I installed the receiver when I had the dash, what am I missing? I’ve tired to key programming sequence but no joy.

I don’t have the race series cooler in yet, still the bigger one though. Got to 205 coming up the hill from phoenix to flagstaff. Got hot a few times while in the cinders, but nothing above 200. I’m gonna work on putting new lines in tonight. I really don’t want to see temps over 200 no matter what I’m doing. I’m putting in a 180 degree thermostat so that will be the new minimum temp. Ideally I’d never see over 190 but I don’t think that’s realistic with a thermostat that high, and I couldn’t find a cooler one.

I still think if you cut the back out of the cubby it will drop temps a lot. Even if you just cut a bunch of slots. That cubby is for sure restricting fresh air flow.

You should be able to stay close to 190 with a 180 thermostat if the cooler is getting fresh air flow.

yeah i can definitely say the remote door locks don't need much other than the reciever...theres not much left of my stock body harness and they still work like a champ! no idea if i can even get it into program mode anymore but oh well....lol

Maybe that’s my issue, unable to get into program mode. I hate how poor this truck feels when I go to get in it and have to use a physical key to open the doors. My buddies always bitch and moan because of how long it takes.
