I could be down to buy the 3d printed one off you if you decide to use the evil one. One of my techs is into 3d printing though so we may design my own. Not sure yet

I got a clear diffused lens on one of the S2’s. Removed the lens and put a shitload of layers of red anodize spray paint on it. It’s not blinding at all now. BD makes a red lens but it is not diffused so it is blinding if used as is.

Flint stone brake. Of all things, it’s almost funny to see the rear glass is still there

There's a decent amount of room. I offset the motor a couple inches to the passenger side for a bit of extra room for the pedals and the front driveshaft since it will be center mount 4wd.
It's going to be set up for left foot braking anyway.

Haha yeah I started to remove it, and then got distracted and just never bothered. Really didn't want to make a custom window or a new frame anyway so I'm just working around it

I got a tracking number from evil today, so if it indeed shows up, I’m open to this. My cost on it was $200, so that’s what I want out of it. I think @TireFire was also interested, whoever wants it can have it

Lmfao I still think it would be funny every time I hit the brakes to piss off the person behind me

Which single light?? It’s a chase light so light output is important to me.

Braedon Reeves on Facebook, here’s his website, which I posted in an earlier post on here: https://signaturecustoms24.com/collections/offroad-lighting

Mishimoto is Chinese garbage. Everyone I know who has one has problems. Granted, lifetime warranty is cool, but I’d rather just have a product I won’t have problems with.

Yeah I mean I have the two s2 pros work scenes in my mazulla bumper plus this s2 pro spot going in the third brake light. Switchpros lets you strobe it too

Chase light. The dust is so loose here that if a truck is following you and you mash the brakes, they might not see you in time to stop. Chase lights help with that a lot.

got it, but that makes me wonder if you considered a snorkel intake rather than the under hood 4” a few posts back. I would think a snorkel with a vortex pre filter would get cleaner air to that awesome engine

    I hate snorkels.

also, the dust gets kicked up behind me, and my truck is faster than 99% of the people I’m consistently wheeling with, so I’m typically in the front and don’t have to worry about it. I have a dust and dirt sleeve that goes over the cone filter too.

Sorry Mark I don’t read every word you post. And if Ron doesn’t post it up on his website how do customers know what and what he doesn’t manufacture!

@Pittsy Best of luck with your build and I will stop into Paul’s shop to see the exhaust work.

To each their own, but I hate dusting expensive motors with shit air filters. Snorkels ain't it but would hate to see you dust that beautiful small block with the wrong intake.

Is there something wrong with the K&N filter and dust sleeve?

Yeah the Ron Davis website isn’t awesome, but they’re working on a new one right now that’s 10 times better.

To put it in the terms of the last few pages of this thread, I feel a K&N and dust sleeve is the Mishimoto Radiator of intakes.:D Not trolling or picking a fight, but have seen a few dead motors/problems on various rigs who ran a K&N/dust sleeve and tactfully remind you a good intake is the first line of defense to a reliable desert rig.

I can only imagine you're overloaded with details right now so am certain the K&N isn't the final final. You said you don't feel like you have room but where there's a will, there's a way so will just set this here:

fair enough, im ignorant to any other filters besides K&N, and s&b. Are there any quality cone filter options for the time being?

im aware of the Ump’s, the problem is I’m going to need multiple of them. I was told they don’t flow very well, maybe @tacotunner06 can share some personal experience on this.

the reason I’m even trying to figure out a better solution is because in my latest sample from Blackstone, they did find a very small amount of dirt in the oil.
