From what I remember the TE cage only had on bar that may interfere with your console and that the B pillar to B pillar tube that runs along the floor. I left it out on mine since I put my seats right back into the OEM attacments. It is a1.5 inch tubes on the access cab kit. Its main use is if your seats are going to be attached to the cage. Im sure the whoever does your cage can work around that no problem.

typically a cage’s seat mount tubes will will go to or through your trans hump …no biggie a well placed semi circle over a tube will be an easy mod to the console, thing looks tits btw glad you found someone local to do it. i can’t wait to do my own stuff…

Yeah the dude is super legit. $1800 for the custom dash and Holley screen and the center console. Super fair I thought. The company name is OTG solutions. Off the grid solutions.

to clarify - having your seat that you are pinned into by a harness that is not secured to the same structure is the risk in an accident

ie: the cab can move = seat can move but the cage is not moving and you’re pinned by the harness connected to the cage

I returned the PRP steering wheel and ordered a NRG one, I didn't realize the PRP doesn't have a horn button.

I stopped by to see the truck in person, and im gonna be picking it up later today. The guy doing it is going on vacation Monday for a week, so Im going to get the laundry list of items done I needed to get done. I need to figure out why my holley dash isn't powering on, I might've forgotten a wire. I also need to run power from my switch pros down to my radio in the center console, and get everything there wired up. And change out my rad fans and get the new solid state relay wired all up. Im going to bring the truck back to him to add the cupholders and the 5th headset jack, which shouldn't take him long at all.

Busy busy day today, got the new serpentine belt on, ran power wires for my intercom/radio, ran antenna wire to back of cab, ran a power wire for an s2 to the back of the cab, got the evil mfg 3rd brake light installed, which didn’t come with enough rivnuts or hardware fyi, got the old soap’s pulled off, new steele’s installed, got the MSD solid state relay installed and wired up, and got all the intercom jacks wired and connected to the intercom, also had to repair a ignition wire going to the Holley dash to get it running again.

Took this thing on its first serious rip with the new trans and man it feels good to be back. Trans temps are staying right at 175.

Coolant temps creep as I start to beat on this thing with the AC running. Was running 200-205, with an ambient air temp of 100. I don’t know why this thing is running hotter than it used to. I’m out of ideas on that, any input?

Also, maybe @snowsk8air2 can chime in, or really anyone with a rugged radios / intercom setup, I need some help. I’m only hearing cabin occupants in one ear cup, not both. Same for music and everything. Only 1 ear cup and I can’t figure out why. Any ideas? Is it one cup for intercom one cup for radio? If so that really bothers me.

Definitely should be coming from both ear cups. That’s weird. How many headsets do you have? Is it happening on all of them or just one? I’d try swapping headsets and wires around to troubleshoot if it’s a headset, cable, or something with the unit itself.

I’ve tired all, and I’ve tried just one. Tried just 3, and tried 4.

Hmmm only ever worked with their support team at koh but they were very helpful. Might be worth reaching out to rugged.

Yeah I’ll reach out Monday. Just a bummer. The intercom is the only part of my whole system I bought used because I got an awesome deal on it. The dude I bought it from said he used it twice then was given an STX system he wanted to try instead. The unit looked brand new though.
