the Holley is looking for fuel level sender resistance at the combination meter connector, is it there? I’ve tired both pin 4 and pin 8 on connector A and I’m reading 0% fuel no matter what. Fuel is a little above a 1/4 tank when I plug the normal meter in.

And if you’re bored, I still need the indicator light power wires for the tire light, parking brake light, low beam, and door light. I’ve gotta be missing something here.

 

I need these for my Bimmer and my Taco. As soon as I saw them in the video, it made me immediately think of your build and struggles. I am super glad they worked out.

 

You need to ground one of the wires and connect your Holley unit to the other if your Holley connection to it is just a single wire.

 

It doesn't matter if I ground pin 4 or 8? and the other just goes to the single wire in the holley?

 

Pin 4 (Yellow/Black) is the level sensor ground on the stock system but it shouldn't matter which one you ground.

Looks like tire light is pin 23 connector A

Door light is pin 18 connector A

Low beam is pin 32 connector A

But I can't seem to decipher which one the parking brake light is?

 

The parking brake switch is connected to the ABS module which turns the brake light on, if your not using the ABS module anymore you will need to run a wire directly from the parking brake switch.

In that case the Brake indicator wire is Pin 10 (Black/White) and the ABS Indicator is Pin 9 Orange of connector C10 (B) but they are reverse logic meaning the ABS module grounds the wire to turn the lights off.

 

Pin 32 red/black only has .4v on it when the headlights are on. That’s right pin for low beams right?

 

Yes, are you sure you didn't cut the wire when you were ripping wires out? It goes through junction 2A in the engine room fuse box.

but the door signal wire, it’s not illuminating on the dash for me. Does that get pulled down to ground too?

and tire light? I can’t test that one

edit door was switched to ground, but can you confirm tire light for me?

 

Tire light is reverse logic like the ABS and Brake lights.
