They’re the vinyl material, but they feel really close to real leather. I have no complaints about them! So comfy.

Well I’m late to the party. I see you too have dealt with URD or as I referred to them as U R Dumb.

A question to all here, anywhere else to get fuel pumps for a Taco besides U R Dumb?

I’m so glad I’m only attempting to LS Swap an 4x2 and it’s over my skills and abilities plus not having the proper tools and knowledge. Hell I’ve been reading about standalone harnesses for over two weeks. The Holley stuff is sweet but I’m guessing with my setup I will be lucky to be pushing 330 RWHP. I only have a NA 06 aluminum 5.3 with a new Tremec TKX 5 spd I’m hoping to get in a reg. cab 5 lug. I like to ask some questions.
First why move the AC up and out the same as the alternator on the other side?
The Tacoma has room between the frame rails for the accessories to sit low. I also purchased 04 Vette accessories for the extra 1.5” of room in front the engine. Im also searching for someone who could LS swap for me.

I moved the AC and Alternator up high because A, alternator was already up high, and B I didnt get a compressor with my motor so might as well Gert a big one and stick It on top. I have plenty of room. On top of that, im super space limited down low with the front diff and steering slide rack and accessories, so.

HOA got mad that the truck was on jackstands for a few days while I was waiting on a new ECGS tool. :argue:

But I mean, we're almost 5 months in and they haven't noticed anything until I took the front wheels off. So, id say im gonna be fine to finish up. Besides, really, how are they gonna know. The wheels are back on now. I guess Im gonna put the hood back on. Got a 2 more months before the truck goes back to 454 and has my LT installed, then the motor goes in for good.

Good news, disk brake conversion kit just shipped. Finally no more terrible drum brakes. All you drum brake enjoyers can keep to yourself. I don't need to hear you cope about your decision to keep shitty brakes.

Couldn’t have said it better! Just wish someone besides SOS made one for a 5 lug. Could almost swap in a Ford 8.8 with disc brakes for the cost of their kit…

Yeah I was gonna say, I went with the Rogue Offroad kit. Keeps the OEM parking brake, couldn't ask for more. Reasonably priced too. This is the last big thing I have to do in my driveway with the HOA breathing down my neck. I digress. I'll get it done. They don't do their inspections at 2 AM so I guess thats when I'll work.

What do you think, remember you live in Scottsdale or as the locals call it Snotsdale AZ…

A city so bad that they won’t even sell their neighbors water. Why, they rather use it to over seed their golf greens in the winter and have lush greens and fairways year round.

A city that has the highest turnover rates for their employees. I worked for Snotsdale for 5 years until I got hurt on the job then terminated. It is a right to work State. My department went through more employees in one year than employees they had on staff constantly and it is and was the second largest department in the city.
I had a supervisor at another city that was recruited by Snotsdale. He gave his written notice and within 3 or 4 months he returned. I found him along one day and I said Ok Eric fess up, he just looked at me and said you were right Randy and I didn’t say that you understand? I smiled and yes Sir I fully understand…
At new employee orientation they politically correct explain the demographics of their citizens and why they strive for this. In orientation someone asked why. The HR manager Connie James, said why have large families, children are expensive to educate. I shit you not and it’s just one of those things in life that you will always remember. And trust me I wish I could forget it.
It is a nice clean city and being they can’t legally run out the homeless. But every time there’s a panhandler at a stop sign or light the city will put up a A frame sign saying do not give this person money. Eventually the homeless mostly move on to Phoenix where there is one on every corner of an intersection.

    Sorry…

I had a '98 D1 for about 4 years. Spent way too much money on building it but could hardly keep it running. Giant piece of shit lol. It's great being able to just get in and drive - it felt like always something wrong with that damned thing. On the flip side, they are super neatly designed vehicles and do just fine on light trails
