I’m wondering if anyone has ever installed an electronic slip differential onto a 2005-2008 taco? I had previously been asking if anyone knew what the barcodes on the housing signifies? I have found a 2011 differential from a 4x4 2.7 manual base model with esd. Does anyone know if it will fit my 2005 prerunner?

The E-LSD is going to be computer controlled. If you don't have the ECU to back it, you are buying an open diff. Save your money.

Swap in a Detroit TrueTrac which will be far more effective than the OEM E-LSD for cheaper.
