    This is true, I’m just looking for something wider for the rear. I’m under the impression a 2nd gen could still work with some fabrication considering they still use the same 8 or 8.4 3rd member and would give me an extra 2” on each side.

    Ideally looking for 1st gen modified tundra or sequoia axle or other custom housing of some sort

    Ok, thought you we’re looking for a sua kit. A 2nd Gen axle will work but Tundra is a bit easier due to having a single e brake cable like a 1st Gen Tacoma. That said 2nd Gen has a better axle bearing style as far as not needing to get the axle seal in the right place on the race like all 90’s yota trucks.

    Nice find. Can't have an e-brake with that one though unless you remove the brackets for the front calipers they put on there, but looks like it still has the stock axle shaft flanges so you might be able to run stock drum brakes again.
