Anyone run into this issue where the hose is a bit too long and rubs on the UCA. Thinking I can compress my coil more( I really don’t want to) cause the hose attachment hits the top hat. Suggestions? Maybe going over? Also I bought from king for my truck specifically could they have possiably got the wrong hose length?

The hoses on my lt kit on for my 2nd gen had the same issue. This is how I solved it:

My roommate works for Marlboro so he has a bunch of giant zip ties for securing signs. I used one attached to the uca bolt sleeve, a few regular zip ties and some shower pan liner even though they didn't rub once they were held in place with the zip ties - I just didn't want them possibly rubbing on the zip ties. I'm pretty sure some decent zip ties would get the job done even if they aren't the industrial strength ones like this one.

Unfortunately that's all I have - I took the kit off when I bought my 1st gen and started building that instead.

Haha no worries that’s all I needed I just was curious. But if I solve it that way then now I can weld in my ressi tabs to hold in place. I just wanted to make sure of everything before I go welding shit lol

Try twisting the resiviour, this will make the hose curl a little more, then clamp it down. Or change/adjust resiviour mount locaton.

Holy shit that’s a good idea! Thank you and yeah I haven’t welded the ressi tabs for that reason I wanted to figure out how to fix the length issue then weld down the tabs once I figure it out

My bad I thought you had already done this and gotten the best possible scenario. My hoses were about 6" too long so there was no other way than getting shorter ones.

*edit - @Jon64l beat me to it

What are you resi’s mounted with? Did you try adjusting to get a better hose angle?

Damn for real? I thought you went plus two so you didn’t have to run glass?

I did, but I fell in love with glass and don’t care to be like everyone else with bushwackers.

    Good memory by the way

Ha what made you fall in love with glass? I figured unless guys were around with it, it would have been hard to change your mind. I think it was the main criteria that sealed the deal with you going plus two originally. Glass gives more space which is always nice especially if you are considering going to dirties.

One I like the way it looks, plus stronger that our current body. But mainly that last part you said. I need more turn/travel space.

I can’t think of any on this coast. I got some road runner fenders for the front that are decent and were cheap to get shipped here. Are you looking to go for a two inch or four inch bulge?

If that is the case, then any of the glass shops will make that. Problem with it being scarce of Lt guys on this side, folks don’t swap glass out as often as the west. Would you match the rear? I think a guy is trying to sell his rear beddies which are a killer price although he would have to ship.
