You’re right. It looks like billet top hats are only used on the 2nd and 3rd gen kits

The top of the coil bucket is beveled up and that plate wouldn't sit flat on top. How are they mounted up? And if it bolts from the underside there isn't enough room on top to get the shock bolt in and out unless the bevel is removed. That is my goal is to get the shock to come on and off using only the shock bolt, not the 3 bolts.

Agreed. I would be down for notching it to get the allen bolt out to remove the shock but that too is removing material.

The dirt king adapter seems to be fun I’ve been running it for a while now and had no problems, I don’t know what bevel you’re talking about pretty sure my coil bucket is flat on top

This one isn’t compatible with the tc bypass hoops are they?

No idea I don’t see why you couldn’t just run a longer bolt through the whole thing?

That isn't 4x4 Fox either. Going from 2wd to 4wd with the TC Fox that plate flipped over.
Look at the top of the coil bucket, it's not flat. Unless the inside hole of the DK plate fits around the bevel...then it might work for 4wd Fox. But the bolt still won't come out.
In my picture I have the TC secondary shock hoop, has longer bolts to clear 2wd or 4wd.

This is the "bevel" I'm talking about. Are you 2wd? With 4x4, Fox and TC requires a tall lower shock eyelet and moves the upper shock mount up (reversing or flipping the aluminum mount over) and notching the coil bucket for the shock hose. The two pictured above are King and SAW shocks. Not sure if 4x4. I want to eliminate this aluminum mount and use the 1/2" upper shock bolt to remove the shock, not the 3-3/8" bolts to the coil bucket.

The dirt king adapter won’t affect the hoops bolting up. The mount does however make the overall length of the shocks a little longer than if you ran the TC spec’d shock.

I think since you brought this up I Might try this. As that back 3/8" bolt is a pain to get to on mine.

Yeah I’m 2wd and I thought you meant that the top of the coil bucket wasn’t flat I was thinking you just bent yours, but now I see what you mean
