I'm planning to stay SOA and get a custom Deaver pack to handle the weight. But I'm going to have to see how the pricing works out. The killer for a DMZ kit is the new set of shocks...

Put the truck on a scale and realized I'm 2500# over listed curb weight, so an off the shelf pack isn't going to cut it.

I bet you deaver could custom make your pack to work with Tim's if you want. It just comes down to what you want out of it...You could always keep your shock set up for now and just install the rear leafs? Creating that wider geo can be a step in the right direction.

I suppose I could limit and bump a SUA kit to work with 12" shocks. Probably don't need a new DS if I do that.

King 2x12 with a BAMF relocation kit.

I'm planning to replace that with a custom hoop if I stay SOA to get the lower tabs up a little higher.

Nope but Im a short bed so I didnt have to extend my axle in any way and I also have 16s through the bed so its designed as intended.

I thought a slip joint DS was required for the full travel on these?

like @txmxer said if you dig through Race Dezert classifieds long enough you may find a solo kit on there. Maybe he meant there was one somewhere else though.

I already have the slip yoke since I am 4wd. The access cabs need the axle extended in order to handle the cycling of the leafs. If you are a 4wd short bed, then you are good to go.

DS gets shortened and a slip yoke added for the Access cab for the DMZ kit

Pic of my access cab DS at ride height and output shaft shoved all the way into the tranny

I'm a DCLB, 4WD, so no slip yoke.

Ah alright well there you go...so DS gets shortened instead of extended.

I think with having an access cab @Arcticelf you will need to have your DS shortened. Sorry for the confusion.
