Great thanks! When changing over to Howe pump do you keep the stock rack and tie rods or does it require something like a tundra swap or sliding rack? And do you feel like you need to upgrade the brakes?

Howe pump doesn't require any additional upgrades. I can't install the slide rack because It's a 3rd gen. I also have oem inner tie rods still.
I have oem size brakes and they work fine but bigger brakes would be nice. If you go with the side rack you can't run oem inner tie rods.

Heres my build from 2015 and before. 09 Reg cab 4cyl 5speed.

Swapped a 2012 conversion on while i had it as well.

I sold this back in Jan of 2015.

Had a Dirt Designs front kit using an 8" CO and a SUA with a traditional shackle in the rear with a 16" bypass to get the basics out of the way.

Engage Offroad long travel front and rear with some fat tires.
y'all are pornhub and mine is VHS... my 2001 rust bucket with 391,000 original miles. OG motor, transmission changed at 390,000

I recently removed the chase rack so I can finally fit in parking structures. It was built in 2008 in my buddy's garage at home. The good ole days of garage fabricators, non production kit.

Front is 6 inches over strapped at 12 inches of travel (16 i think without straps) with King coilovers and triple bypass shocks both with reservoirs and gusseted spindles. The rear axle is a 96 T-100 axle strapped at 16 inches of travel (20 without the straps) geared at 5.29 with spring under and cantilever rear suspension with lay down King triple bypasses so I could retain some bed use. It's over geared so MPG sucks ass on road but is butter in the dirt.

Shoes are 16x8 Eagle Alloy wheels drilled out to 9/16" to accommodate the larger ARP wheel bolts. 3 5/8 inch backspace wrapped with 315-75-16 Cooper STTs. The General Grabbers were just too damn heavy. Dual standing spares.

To stuff it all, we had to order Fiberworks front fenders with 4 inch rise and 6 inch bulge and also large bedsides with the wider stance. And after years of TW OGs telling me to paint the glass to color match, they STILL aren't painted. :anonymous:

Nothing under the hood other than a K&N cold air intake they gave me for free as a CARB legal beta tester back in the day and just a Flowmaster 40 on stock pipes.

22 years of memories with this truck from off the lot to midtravel to as she sits now. I now have a 2006 midtravel as a daily/family truck but I take "Rojo" out when I am alone. It's currently in bad need of bushings so it won't see any dirt for a while as I save up. Besides at these gas prices, my bank account is much happier. hahaha
