Long story short, tech scratched 4 wheels and we replaced them with a new set for the customer.

Really need a different set of tires.

Is the tech still employed after scratching 4 wheels?

I work at a small Toyota dealership as a service advisor, we had a 8 year old hunter machine that was starting to break quite often. We purchased a new Coats machine that offered quite a few features the old one didn't however there is a learning curve with the new machine, if you don't set up the arm properly it allows the duckbill to touch the wheel which caused the damage.

He got wrote up and in depth training on the machine, i paid a portion of the cost of the new wheels to make the impact to the shop not as bad.

I'd hate to see a customer unhappy. I'll let you have my factory wheels and I'll just take those new subpar ones. I don't mind

No money, all went to truck...
Those wheels scratch really easy as well. I have the same wheels, toyota dealership chipped the finish around the lug nut holes. They had them refinished.
Then Sam's club scratched the sh*t out of them when I purchased new tires. Their insurance company paid out $1000 for the damages. Both companies took full responsibility.

FIRESTONE also scratched the rims. They were the only company to deny they did the damage.

Sam's Club messed mine up as well, and I was only trying to have them re-balanced.

Long Trails aren't that bad of a tire. I've people do crazy shit with them out here on the ice. They are very decent all season tires.

Weather is pretty mild here for the most part, really want a more aggressive look.

I paid 400 for the wheels and covered the damage with a paint pen
