I finished lubricating both drive lines today. I found one grease fitting for each for each universal joint for a total of 5. I have drawing I got online that showed a total of 8. Did I just miss some, or is the drawing I got online wrong for my vehicle? Photos would help.

Also, I expected to find some grease fittings on the ball joints, but found none. This is a 2011 Tacoma Access Cab with 53k miles on it.

On a stock truck there are only 5, 2 on the front driveshaft and 3 on the rear. Some aftermarket balljoints and tie rod ends have grease fittings but the stock ones don't.

i always jack up and jack stand for more room. Place in neutral, if only doing back, dont forget to chock those front wheels. Another thing when lowering, dont forget to take out of neutral! Not that its happened:anonymous:
