Lubrication in rear grab handles

Does anyone have, from factory, any sort of lubrication/grease on the rear grab handles in their truck.

Not a good sign... personal lubricant on the grab handles. Sounds like the truck was slightly used

 

Yes yes lol. Besides that. Im asking because I'm worried that i have a leak somewhere. Any clarification would be much appreciated

 

Maybe there is some extra rust prevention in the roof that is melting in the heat.

Ok so I don't mean on the grab handles, I mean by the hinge area where the spring is. Sorry for my unclear description before.

Been a Canadian the use of the word “eh” is to be used at the end of the sentence. Like....hows it going eh. Ya hoser......

 

Im from the Caribbean we say eh at the beginning of the sentence like.....eh what wrong with u?

 

It there the hinge it and it looks shiny. I know you guys are catching a laugh out of this, but I am really wondering if there is a leak somewhere. It was raining this morning, till 8am but the rest of the day was hot. The substance is still there, so this leads me to believe that its some sort of grease?

That looks like a properly lubricated pivot for the handles to swing on.
If there wasny any grease, they could seize, or be obnoxiously squeaky every time some one uses it.
Also, there isnt much up there around the headliner of the trucks, besides some wiring to the 3rd brake light / cargo light / dome light, and some curtain airbags. Nothing that would leak grease.
