    Not much of a mod but a quality of life improvement. When I installed the solid motor mounts there was excessive nvh from the glove box at idle. I had left some leftover foam from an hvac thing so I experimented when different locations. The bottom pic netted the best results for a much more quieter experience.

    I still feel that once a poly transmission support is installed, it will reduce the NHF.

    peps w/crap subs do, lol. Their whole car rattles louder than the music that's playing.

    The price was right for this as in free.99. ;) Although more lately a t56 magnum conversion has been in the back of my mind recently. I don't know why.

    Also on a side note after work yesterday I went through the car wash and my floor mat was wet, I kinda looked around and thought maybe my window wasn't closed all the way but that was dry so then of course I went with what was recently changed out and what I thought was fixed which was the windshield. So today after work I stuck the hose on the bottom of the fender in the engine bay, dry. Hose on bottom of windshield, drips plus what looks like a bit of a compromised seal on the floor mat. So now back to the body shop. :( I'll have to squeeze in a trip to have it fixed. Again. yay.

    Yeah shop informed me its the cowl that's the issue so they're gonna see in the insurer will pay for a new one. Yea I think if I start having transmission issues with this auto I'll switch to a manual. Make it simpler and hopefully lighter.

    I'm inquiring about the weight and caster setting to see if it'll be ok with my truck since it isn't lifted much. The camburg uca I was looking at was 2 degrees i believe. Still have to do some homework.

    Did you scope out if the cowl from a 3rd gen fits? The cabin is barely different so it might bolt up and that’s got an upgraded design with screened louvers so you don’t get that pine needle leaf salad in your cowl and inner fenders

    I could mention that to the body shop and might check. I'm not sure if the 3rd gen shares the same windshield shape as a 2nd gen. I did give the shop the tsb so they can get the better one. This also reminds me to look at the tsb for the steering shaft.

    I’m currently driving around with a cracked WS again. Just went to Safelite recently and asked if they could install a 3rd gen windshield on my truck because somebody here on TW did it. They said yes, as long as they use the 3rd gen molding too

    That's pretty cool. I might inquire to see what the body shop is willing to do then with my truck.
