    Got something I've been needing for awhile which is this brake controller. Also looking in upgrading to kings of the Bilstein 8112 shocks. The roads are getting worse over here. Lol.

    Mostly the city streets. Can't imagine low profile tires like on my peers Audis and mercs. I'm kinda leaning on the Bilstein 8112 vs the kings. Idk y.

    Got the harness and the blank for a clean install but I'm waiting on a tekonsha harness to take the plug so I'll have a nicer harness for the redarc.

    Was gonna ask about this but sounds like you had an issue with fitment. Think they just sent the wrong gasket? I have a weepy diff and plan to do regear + locker within the next year and wondering if this might be worth it.

    Seems like it's for an elocker axle and not an 8.4. never got a reason why it wouldnt work so I can only guess. I just used a little dab of the Yukon rtv and has been leak free and I have not been driving the truck lightly. I have been enjoying the LSD

    I adapted the redarc harness to a 09 Tacoma plug for the trailers brake controller. Hopefully works fine.

    So a Google search suggests that this means the package is lost. I hope not. This is the ported supercharger nose. Hopefully it'll turn up tomorrow.

    The trd supercharger intake came in. Ported well I think but your kinda limited on what you can take away. 2.8 quick change installed. Now I'm just waiting for the belt and the tensioner pulley to come in.

    So the next big thing I think for the truck will be boxing the frame and adding in a basic panhard bar/lateral control arm. Under certain conditions, I do feel the sway in the back end whereas my 4runner would not behave in a similar way. This vid makes a good demonstration.

    My idea is very simplistic in I would mirror the 4runner's lateral arm length as both are similar widths. The issue is that the tacoma rear end of the frame is C channel and the 4runner is boxed. Since I plan on welding in a DMZ boxing kit knocking out the clevis for the lateral arm will kill two birds. I will need to do a bit of homework on suspension but I feel the neutral middle would be ride height and then finding the length of the suspension at full uncompressed length and where it hits the bump stops at compression and I feel confident that it'll match a 4runner at similar ride height. Should be a fun project and make the driving experience more enjoyable.
