do you you have a planned route to conquer for the day..something like Poweline road or bounce around around one of the race courses..

one of my favorite routes is running Bessimer Mine Road from HWY 247 all the to interstate 40 and back...the last canyon right fore I40 is the bomb..fast drifting turns that gets you into 4wheel drifts coming out of the turns...ask HBMurphy on how fun that part of the trail is hahahaha

^ why dont you pick out a route, you think we should camp below rock pile? thats where i camped last time during the MDR race. Then we can decide where to go from there based on what people have in terms of suspension, i think only 3 of us are long travel, the rest probably 2wd with a light lift.

Bouncing around the race course is pretty fun, i just dont want to lose anyone

im still not 100% sure that i can make it, all depends on if i can get someone t cover for me..so i'll pass on picking a route..

rockpile is always a good place to camp cuz it's out of the way and nobody should bother the campsite..but, can everyone find it if they show up at a later time.

i think any route will be suitable for the lesser equipped tacos out there, you just need to make sure the last person in the pack has good comms and knows what the route is in case anyone strays from the faster group and doesn't know where to go....

Race Course A is pretty well marked around the whole area around the rockpile..so maybe just staying on that..

I'm down for a LT run, just got a race radio and still have my cb. What I did out in Ocotillo for the slower guys that would come along with me is do a trail 10 miles at a time and stop and regroup. I'm trying to get my bro and buddy to bring out there tacos. They are really fast for mid-travel. I never need to wait up for them.

I can't wait. My buddy is bringing out his taco too. The mud can't be as bad as Ocotillo. Ocotillo is where you sink up to your cab and takes a week to get you out and 3+ hours to pressure wash your truck.

Fuck, so Engage was supposed to be done with my truck today, but they ran outta welding gas, and they cant get anymore til Monday cuz of the holdidays, so my truck isnt gonna be done til Tuesday :(

Ima have to rent a car and drive to Engage Tuesday and wait for them to finish my truck. Then I can drive to Lucerne.
