Went to the store to get my oil and decided to pick up some of that Lucus oil stabilizer. The guy said I should put the entire bottle in then fill with regular oil. Anyone else use this product in engine oil or transfer case/transmission? How much do you use with engine oil? Notice any changes?

    Thanks for the help!

Damn ok. I started wondering when I saw how thick it was, I fear of making the oil too thick that it can't get in the tightest of places needed. Which may be the reason that 350 had a problem. Older cars not so much since they are worn.

    Thanks for input!

And why is that? What if I just add some water to thin it out? Jk bummer, time for another change. So why does everyone not like it? Not just, it doesn't work. Anyone personally have a problem with the oil stabilizer? Lots of people seem to use it in new and old vehicle. Some using whole bottle others only half. So why do taco owners not like it? I'm just curious, because I don't know. Not trying to start a war :)

Use a good oil and you will not need additives like Lucas.

I run Pennzoil Ultra personally but any oil that meets the required specs should be fine without adding crap. (unless its in a purple bottle.. avoid that crap too)
