When I bought my truck it had aluminum wheels made by Prime (i think, marked PRIME-KS inside)

I want to change to OEM steel wheels. Can someone show me a link or part number for the lug nuts I'll need?

    this is what I have

Are your current lugnuts flat bottomed or tapered? Pretty sure the steel wheels will need tapered.

As a side note, very unlikely you have aluminum wheels, more likely to be a polished alloy.

The Prime site may help you determine what you have and if they are discontinued or still available. This could be helpful info if you plan to hit clist with them.

You'll need a simple acorn style conical/tapered lug nut.....12x1.5 size.

Just make sure they aren't the radius type.

Very common. You can get them just about anywhere.

I have tapered nut, added pic above. Aluminum or alloy. I've checked the Prime site a few times, mine aren't anywhere to be found.

Well, what you have now should work, 'cause it looks just like what @Plain Jane Taco posted. But if they are all that rough, you might want to spring for new ones.

Yeah.....OP must have added the pic after I posted. These things are inexpensive. I'd spring for a fresh set. But what he has will work

I'm not concerned about the roughness of existing nuts. If any arent serviceable they'll get replaced, but even at a buck each, that's still $30 that can be gas, food, etc

Aren't you glad you're figuring this out now, before you get a flat in the middle of nowhere and have to put on the steel spare? :)

holy ferret lips! I hadn't even thought of that. I've been fortunate enough to plug my flats. Plug and air up takes about as long as changing, so I only look at the spare to make sure it's got air in it.
