Went to discount tire *enter large sigh here* and had a set of 2019 take off's to swap on to my 2013. The owner of the 2019 wheels gave me the lug nuts as well when i purchased the wheels. They're still in a box on my shelf at home. When i went to discount the person at the counter mentioned there were a difference in lug nuts between my 2013 and the 2019 wheels that i was going to have them install and i would need to purchase new lug nuts from them. Something along the lines of the 2019 will use a more conical type lug nut to fit the wheel vs a 2013 lug nut that has a flat face.

I chose not to have them balance and swap the wheels due to it being a $125 charge to swap wheels and balance them. So before i swap the wheels over myself using the lugs from the 2013 wheels, i was wondering if anyone was more well versed than i am in this situation to tell me if the lugs are a different style and will/wont work with the wheels

    Steel or aluminum take offs?

3rd gen OEM aluminum wheels use flat faced nuts. TRD aftermarket, beadlock, use cone seat.

The nuts match the wheels. So use the '19 nuts with the '19 wheels and good to go.

Nope, 1996 lugs fit 2022 lugs.

That said some wheels suit the longer lugs than the shorter ones.

As long as they are the alloy lugs with washers and they are 21mm you are good.

Wheel studs are the same thread diameter and thread pitch as the same as the nuts.
