Can anyone recommend or prefer specific lug nuts for realz wheels ? Stock Toyota lug nuts don’t sit flush. Mahalos in advance.

You're looking for acorn style lug nuts 12x1.5. The stock ones are "mag" style.

It's difficult to see what's going on there.. Those may still need mag style lug nuts, just with a shorter shank.

Are those raised areas around the lug holes tapered at all?

Yes, they are tapered. I’m gonna head down to a shop after work so we’ll see what fits best. I’m assuming acorn from what you were referring to earlier but I seen pictures with guys that have the mag style so it may be the ones with a shorter shank.

Agreed, doesnt look ball seat at all. My next concern is how thick is the flange. I had to put extra long lugs on my 96 to fit the M/T mags. The guy I got the truck off of had only 4 threads engaged on the lug nuts.
