    I am in the process of painting my rims black, and want to pick up some black lug nuts.
    Right now it is freezing outside and I don't feel like going out side to take a lug nut off to see what size it is.
    Can somebody tell me the size lug nut I need for 2008 Tacoma 16 inch steel rims ?
    And where should I pick them up, online ?? or auto parts store??
    just regular lug nuts, not putting on locking ones
    Thanks
    Barry

    Not to be picky but that isn't inches.

    M12-1.50 Thread Size

    M = Metric thread designation

    12 = Nominal diameter, in millimeters

    -

    1.50 = Pitch (distance from thread to thread), in millimeters

    When I looked at the "wheelers" website, The same lug nut that looks like mine (alloy wheels) states " for Alloy wheels only"
    So since I am going to use steel rims, then should I go with the 12mm x 1.5 Acorn Bulge lug nuts that they offer??
    Thanks
    Barry

    Why not paint the OEM lugs? Just give them a quick sand over with 200 grit paper. Try it one side to see how it looks. I rattle painted my alloy wheels and decided not to paint the lugs cause I liked the look of the chorm lugs on black wheels.
