Torque wrench? Harbor freight and see if it “feels” right, for things like lug nuts, etc. For more detailed work, say and engine rebuild, it’s still probably Harbor Freight but I might make a simple “calibration” rig.

Changing wheels though? Battery impact, level one (most power) to take the lugs off. Level 2 to put them back on.

in the truck? Four way all the way. If you want to get fancy drill some big holes in a 20” chunk of 2x4 to support the outside end. That and some sore back muscles has worked for everything up to tractor crap

I keep an impact M12 impact in my car for a flat and a decent lug wrench. I'll already be mad enough changing it. Not dicking around with a lug wrench will be a plus.

For home I use torque sticks. They're close enough for lugs.

You're right. I am sorry my shit post upset you. I myself see no point in carrying a torque wrench in my vehicle even if I am going on a long trip. The factory wrench has served well for decades for millions of people. And it's free. If I need to change a wheel on the road, as many others have stated, change and torque when you get home. If I am going on a long trip I will bring one of my electric impact guns to make the job quicker, but around town... factory works fine. As you stated to the other member, you do you boo!

For you, it wasn’t about torque wrenches but the fact your shit post failed to make sense trying to relate it as common sense. Pointing that out makes me upset… ok, if you say so

you were right in a roundabout way
don’t drive on a flat
