    I got a 3yr warranty from Transstar from the remanufactured transmission I spent a fortune on last year.

    New a340e should’ve gotten ordered yesterday. Just gotta wait for that. Throw it in and keep on truckin.

    I cooked my trans a few years ago being a dumbass and it puked all over the exhaust catching a small fire that was put out quickly. Ever since I’ve been waiting for my trans to let go since all I did was service it and I haven’t had any issues since but it’s still in the back of my head ever time I beat on it. Transmissions for these trucks are ignorantly overpriced IMO

    no he didn’t give any indication but I dropped into a trail and took 2 hard hits dropping in and back up and out. Went to accelerate and thought I knocked it into neutral. I was in drive. :annoyed:

    It was impact related. Tires didn’t leave the ground but I took to hard hits. It wasn’t horrible impact but apparently it was enough. Trans temp was at around 210 degrees at the time. Which is hot but not a concern

    now to deal with the rest of the carnage.

    Leaking axle seal.
    New Bump stops.
    Bent leaf springs.
    Bent drive shaft
