Got the front end wrapped up today. Drove it down to the alignment shop and they got me dialed in. Just a couple more odds and ends and the front end will be done.

Thanks dude. It feels good to see those parts off the floor and on the truck after all that time.

What’s up with your truck? Did you pull the trigger on that kit?

It’s pretty wide haha. Thinking I’m gunna throw my 1.25 spacers in the rear to even things up until I can do something more permanent with the rear.

No unfortunately. I’m going to replace the speed sensor output Tuesday. The new trans guy hooked up his machine and was able to monitor the parameters when the truck had one of its shifting mishaps and confirmed that the sensor was telling the ECU that the truck was going 0mph, which would explain why the truck randomly jumps down to 1st gear or revs up before shifting. It’s a cheap part that seems like a promising lead

“If the speed sensor fails it can cause automatic transmission problems such as late harsh shifts, early soft shifts, or can result in no shifting at all. Transmission speed input or out put sensor faults will also confuse the transmission and cause erratic shifting”

That sounds like a pain in the ass. Speaking of giant pains have you had any issues with the ABS? Mine keeps acting up at low speeds when I’m just shy of a stop, the pedal pushes back like a the ABS is taking over. I’m really feeling like ripping out the ABS fuse...
