There is a cable that is forcibly pressing against the cloth of the driver seat back from the underside. I assume it is the cable for the lumbar control. Does anyone else have this or maybe the cable was not secured properly?

It does not seem right. My first though was that it will facilitate premature localized wear on the seat back just from brushing up against it.

Oh. And evidently it is only doing it when I am sitting in the seat. Maybe it's not that big of a deal.

I haven't explored mine yet, but will sub this and get back to ya. You did confirm that it is the lumbar? It adjusts tight or loose?

I am just assuming it is the lumbar cable. I couldn't think of anything else that would be in there. I would describe it as being like a tent pole in a dome tent. When the tent is set up the bent pole presses against the cloth. It is not quite that firm though. I only noticed it when I reached around(while sitting in the seat) to move my boys feet off the seat. I rubbed my hand against it. It does not protrude when The driver seat is empty.
