    Hey @Shandtke ,

The truck is still available. It's got 244,xxx miles on it and is running strong. I still drive it from time to time, so that number will change a little bit. Let me know if you have any more questions, or would like to see any specific pictures.

Thanks Brett! I'd probably make more money if I split it up. But, changing back to a stock setup sounds like a lot of work! (Not to mention that shipping would be a deal killer!)

Thanks! I'm looking for something I can take off road but will still be able to drive around town and to my destinations. Would this tacoma be alright as a low-mileage daily?

So I'm pretty new to the off-roading world and I've been cautioned by a few people about buying a set up that has been wheeled a lot. Do you have suggestions on what to be looking for when I'm interested to make sure it's not going to fall apart a month after I buy it? Cause I'm definitely liking your set up.

I can see what your friends are saying, if the truck has been beat up a bunch. But, I spend the time to set this rig up to be able to wheel on the weekend and daily drive during the week. I haven't damaged anything over all of the trips I've been on. It just fires up and runs everyday. You can't tell it has been wheeled from the driver's seat, or outside for that matter. (other than scrapes on the skid plates and bumper) Really, I think it comes down to having proper armor under a rig as well as being smart about your wheeling. I never allow fast wheel spin to get over an obstacle. I crawl the truck. I never allow the truck to bounce over rocks or drag the undercarriage or differentials. I take my time to put my tires on the big rocks, allowing the truck to pass over rough terrain gently. Go back and look at the Youtube video I posted to see what I mean. You won't find rock bouncing, metal scraping or any damage. Just smooth and easy crawling. That's what Toyotas seem to like.

If you are curious about specifics, or would like to ask me questions about the truck, I'd be happy to talk with you. You can shoot me a PM with your number and we can talk over the phone. I can tell you exactly what maintenance to expect with the truck as well as explain how the truck is setup.

Great. I started a conversation with you. Feel free to ask any questions or request any pictures/information you want.

Also, I'm going to wash the truck and take more detailed pictures showing the condition today. I realized that I posted a bunch of adventure pictures but no shiny pictures.

Here are some more pictures I took yesterday, to show current condition of the truck. It rained yesterday and is raining today so, this is about as clean as it's going to get for now:

Bump, GLWS; my first gen is similar to yours and I have been tossing around the idea of selling it so I have been watching this thread closely the past fews weeks, really surprised it has not sold.

Thanks guys. Honestly, I'm surprised that it hasn't sold yet either. I did some really basic estimating and guessed that the truck has over $4000 more than the asking price, just in parts.

    1. Crawlbox setup - $3000
    2. Front suspension (with UCAs) - $1500
    3. Rear suspension - $1500
    4. Tires - $1000
    5. Front Bumper - $500 (this is a low estimate because I built it myself. The removable winch feature would be expensive to buy)
    6. Full Skids - $500 (this is a low estimate because I built them myself Front, IFS, Belly and Gas tank skids would run over $1000 for an equivalent commercial product - 3/8" plate with angle iron reinforcement)
    7. Lighting (with Hi/Low HID conversion) - $500
    8. Rear ARB - $1000
    9. Bedliner - $500
    10. Soft Topper (with extra rear screen door) - $750
    11. CBI Sliders (with the extra vertical hoop... which you can't even buy anymore) - $600
    12. Professional "Rustoration" underbody protection with lifetime warrenty - $600 ( http://theruststoppros.com/rustoration/ )
    13. Reupholstered seats and shifter boots - $600

    TOTAL for Parts - $12,550

Man, I appreciate the offer. But, I already bought the replacement for the Tacoma and I'm trying to downsize my vehicle collection. Thanks for the compliment and the offer.

    Hey Tacobell,

The frame is in great shape... no rust at all. When I was in CO, there were some scratched up places that had very light surface rust. Out of pure fear, I did the $600 Rustoration here last fall. This involves scraping the frame, applying a rust inhibiting paint and then a fluid film. That film is still on there now. As long as I get the truck fluid filmed there every year, the truck has a 100% repair/replacement warranty at "The Rust Stop".
