Got some new Wranglers a size bigger than stock today. Just as cool for me, my glove box and storage compartment organizers came in the other day. Waiting on the Snugtop Highliner now.

 

No rubbing on road, 16x8 +1ET with 265/75r16. Likely go 5100’s up front and small block in rear. The trail editions sit pretty nice at 1.1” and 0.5”.

 

Sold my ‘06 TRD OR 2WD on Tuesday and picked up my ‘23 Seafoam Slurry TRD OR 4WD today.
Leaving Alabama to buy a new Toyota was a good decision… highly recommend Toyota of Gallatin, just northeast of Nashville (ask for John). They appear to have a business built on moving inventory instead of killing folks with a thousand cuts.
-The after deposit wait was 3 weeks.
-I was in and out in an hour and 17 minutes.
-The doc fee was under $500 and no “market adjustment”.
-The warranty up-sale pitch was short and sweet with zero pushback when I promptly declined.
-If I had purchased this vehicle in Alabama it would have cost me an extra 5k and a 4 to 6 month wait; no thanks Southeast Toyota.

Yep, I drove 5 hours one way into deep GA to get mine and live in Bham area, dealers here are awful and I've bought in NJ, PA, IL and AZ.

 

I just got back from GA with mine.

My previous vehicles were from GA, PA, TN and IL

 

Bought mine from Valdosta, was in and out in less than an hour, no pushy finance guy, was great. Gave me $39k for my 2020 w/46k miles and paid MSRP for my LR, back in August last year.

 

Mine came from Newnan.

They had to buy back my 2020, due to undisclosed frame damage (their tech missed it during the CPO inspection ).

The GM took care of me and my '23 LR was at dealer cost, plus tax.

 

Nice minus the frame damage 2020. I avoided Newnan last year they were one of the ones with ADMs on 4WD TRDs.

 

I had it 4 months, but they paid me in full, including tax and loan costs.

I can't thank the GM enough, for doing what was right.

 

Seems more common these days to have to travel for what you want. I flew two states away to get my ‘22. Now on the hunt for a used Lexus convertible for my better half, and that is sure to be a road trip, as there aren’t any in these parts.

 

I was about to say… that doesn’t look like the Bill Penny lot.

 

BP and ALL the others around here ares too expensive.

 

High Country, Sand Mountain, Serra I found all to be not great. Hoover does MSRP but they low ball you on trade and their service department is highway robbery.

 

Do I ever wish we could get those LED headlights up here in Canada as an option. Not $2,000-$3,000 after the fact. I hate my chrome out headlights!
