Yes Bails. Sorry for being vague about the LED lights. Yes, I would like to find some LED bulbs that can pop into the existing housing which could give brighter light without blinding oncoming traffic. I'm sure there are threads about this topic and I will search, but if anyone has had success with a particular bulb-swap (hopefully from Amazon), please kindly post a link.

Yes, at the moment my headlights are so dim that it's kind of hard to tell if they're on at night.

I had the luxury of renting a 3rd generation tacoma earlier in the year and it's headlights were amazing! I believe they were standard LED's for that vehicle and I was assuming they would be on this truck - wrong. But hopefully an easy cure.

Lunar Rock galore! I think all I’d need is a steel bumper and we’d be identical twins

I'm pretty sure I've got Auxito LED bulbs in my '05 Tahoe and they work pretty well. I had Lasfit LED bulbs in my former '13 RAV4 and they worked well, too.

Congrats on the new rig. Did you get it from Kendall in Anchorage?

I picked up mine from Seattle and drove up.

My amber lenses came in yesterday and I got grille lights as a secret santa gift— really like the pop of color they give!

Yup, ended up getting it from Anchorage Kendall after Fairbanks Kendall left me high and dry. I was not looking forward to driving a new truck back from Fairbanks in December so that is good.

285s.jpg 285s Closeup.jpg 285s Side.jpg Got 15K on the truck. At 14K I took the plunge and upgraded to 285/70/17 with FN wheels. I had to do a .75" spacer to get 1.5" lift and had to remove my front mud flaps. I'm still working on a solution for that. I have to say it drives a little better as far as the transmission shifting. As for the gas mileage I think I'm getting 16-17. The speedo is 2MPH off after 40MPH.

Those wheels are a good choice IMHO, I’m curious to see pics when you get em mounted!

Just changed the headlight to LED H11's
Upgraded the stock fogs to OEM LED fogs with black housing. Looks much sharper!

I’m trying to decide if I want to spring for new bfg’s or buy a matching Vette that wouldn’t make it up the drive!

Get the E-Ray and you’ll have AWD and a matching car! You’ll also be $110,000 poorer though.

I just picked up this 2021 with 25k. I just added the wheels and tires this weekend. I am going to change the rear decal, I do not like the red. I am also debating on adding a Pro grill, I do like how some of you painted my current grill black. It's good to be back in a Taco, Happy New Year all.

Nice looking truck! I think you are a Cement bro though as it appears to not be a TRD Pro (21's were exclusive to Pros for LR).
