I stayed with OEM size because of warranty and for matching with spares. They are 265/70/16.

We have a deposit down on a LR going to be built in 2 weeks but took a LR for a test drive this last Sunday at another dealership, it was a mostly sunny day. Pictures make the Lunar Rock look like a seafoam green but in person its more gray, light blue, maybe a little hint of green. Very pleased with the color so far.

Also took the Sport for a test drive at the same time and like how the Pro rides better with the Fox suspension on main roads.

Is the Pelican (Pub) still alive and well? - When last in the area, I enjoyed a pint there as often as possible.

I read a bit back on the thread and saw some of the color analogies (Zombie skin, tic tacs, Honeydew melon, etc.) All are good... ;)

The color always struck me as very similar to the livery on the Australian navy ships.

As with LR on the tacos, in person, this colour looks a bit grey-er than in the pictures...

    - I may have to add the Red Kangaroo naval insignia somewhere on the Taco as worn by the Australian navy ships!

(you can just see it on the funnel of the ship pictured with the Sydney Harbour bridge.)

Any LR owners out there so far contemplating a cap for the rear? (as in Leer, ARE, Snugtop, etc?).
    - I cannot say that I've ever been a fan - but I believe that this configuration will best match my plans / needs for the taco.

OZ TRD, I have an RLD Design cap on order. Should receive it Dec/Jan. Color match Lunar Rock with black doors. I’ve owned several LEER in the past and found that there quality has gone down hill on my last one that was installed on my Tundra. I’ll add some pictures once I get the RLD.

Yo OZ TRD, I like the pictures of the Australian Navy, thank you. So the Tacoma paint went from Army to Navy, I get it now. I cannot wait for my lunar rock to arrive! Unfortunately mine is held up at the port for quality control. Quality control...at the dock? It probably fell off the boat.

Anyone trying to guess the 2022 TRD Pro special color? I literally can't think of anything. I ruled out all the past tacoma, 4runner, sequoia, tundra, shades of white/gray/black, glossy/pearl, ugly colors, and colors that are similar to other special colors. I also doubt toyota will go back to using FJ cruiser colors. Maybe toyota will introduce a new color?

Garbage, they had my truck and same truck spec for spec but advanced tech package, I messed with the camera and was like ya, I'm not paying for that.

In the market for a LR Tacoma (South Florida) and was told 3-6 months. First time TRD Pro buyer here, is that the norm? I ask the salesmen if I was buying a handmade Ferrari. The dealer also told me they are not taking deposits.

Pros are made during certain cycles or times during the production year, first batch was late Sept/Oct, so yep makes sense, I would say more like 3 months not 6 months, unless the dealer is telling you 6 months as in the next batch of allocations are already spoken for.

So the lowest I can get one in my neck of the woods in Lunar Rock Manual is $45,000. That's before taxes etc, anyone have a hook up to something better?

That sounds like a very reasonable price for a MT PRO. Are you looking for a gift? Man. That's what they go for.

Sounds about right, only time you see PROs discounted is when they are sitting around like we saw in 2019 towards the end of the year related to overproduction (my regional guy told me they made more PROs that year than any other year) and that dorkel, MSRP is a good deal in this climate and Toyota has already said they are expecting decreased production so I wouldn't bank on any sitting around either end of year. Life is short man, if you really want a PRO I'd say snag it, and honestly they hold their value better than any of the other trims.
