Not at all buddy. It's a tough pill to swallow and know you had that nonsense with your current rig, just trying to figure out your best deal / plan, makes sense.

Agreed! I am amazed how well LR hides the dirt. I left mine parked in the CLT airport long-term parking for a week. When I picked it up on Friday, it looked like it was just washed!

good deal. Normally they come with port or dealer installed options that raise the price. That one must be bare bones

they cost what they cost. Most pay MSRP

Mine came with port installed options raising the price. I wish it had been bone stock. Luckily they were willing to negotiate some.

I wonder how many MT LRs will be produced for 2021... it seems there are a few on here already.

I heard only around 65 are made in MT. Approx 5% of Tacoma’s are made in MT. And only 5000 TRD Pro Tacoma’s are made each year. Spread that among 4 colors and you get some low MT numbers. No one knows for sure but this is my speculation

The more I see it, the more I like it. Not to mention I feel it looks much better in person. I don’t understand why it looks so green in photos but hardly at all in person.

I went to a local dealer in RENO yesterday for other purposes... This is not the dealer where I 'reserved' a LR PRO which I hope will show-up sometime soon...

I had to wait a while so I roamed around a bit and good things happened:

    - I saw a Lunar Rock RAV4. It had been a while since I saw the color by chance at the dealer in Australia. - Yes. I still like it. In fact, It looks even BETTER that I remember.... :D

-I ran into a slightly used (~5k mi) 2020 fully loaded OR Taco in MGM (leather, LED, Rock Armor - this presumably by the previous owner). It had Just been traded in... (do not know what for...).

    >>> but most importantly; THIS THING HAD a STICK!

This was the first 3rd gen Taco I ever saw in the flesh - with a stick. So of course I HAD to take it for a test drive... This was the second 3rd Gen taco I ever drove - the other being an Auto gearbox OR.

Long story short: ME LIKEY. (Update from the LR PRO dealer is that the Taco is expected to arrive before month's end...) :bananadance:
(me not holding breath... for now)

    - Now I am even more eager for the thing to show-up!

They need a brown, I'd like to see that Tundra Sunset Mica on a Tacoma.

Normally, I am not a fan of brown*...
But it seems that would Look good on a Taco.

    * I had to prove to my wife that performance trumps aesthetics when I found that my choice of Bike ONLY came in BROWN... (I it has since grown on me...)

it would then match my other ride:

    no thanks

i think it would be cool if they went with some kind of matte color. sparkly metallic paints dont look good on trucks.

That’s a pretty bold statement but an opinion nonetheless. Oddly, the cement color from toyota still has some metallic flake in it. Matte colors look like hell after a while because they actually require a lot of special maintenance to look fresh. Typically matte colors end up looking like someone rattle-canned the whole vehicle to cover a mistake which in turn makes even a relatively new vehicle look run-down.
