@johnnyroid: thats awesome man! you enjoying retired life? i miss the army everyday. it is what it is though. 11th armored cav is also red and white, atleast their dress patch is. i guess i recall differently cause i was really only linked up with cav during my first deployment, was with 2/5 boys up in war eagle back in 04. rough times, but we hardy mfs.

Yes, retirement is a blessing, however still working, but I will get another retirement hopefully in about 4 or 5 years (Civil Service). Small world. My Iraqi detail painted those helipads Red and White, and your unit relieved us (2nd ACR out of Polk). I was in 1st Squadron (War Eagle, guess where the FOB got its name). I was also in 2-5 in the late '80s at Hood in between my Germany tours. I'm a sweet 16 guy, so I have love for the 2nd, 3rd, and 11th. Scouts Out! Toujour Pret!

hahaha right on! yeah. i always thought war eagle was a wicked ass name! when you fully retire make sure you look into those va benefits. you may feel like you dont need the vas help, but you never know. i helped a few of my battles get their 100%. sometimes the paperwork is the killer. back when i got mines it was a process. now? va streamlined the whole shebang. took me almost 2.5 years to get mine. and that was just waiting. the most recent friend i helped out. 3 months. i was simply blown away. then again, seems like you have an association that has your back! i may just be preaching to the choir lol.

Tundra, not a Tacoma, but check out how different the color looks throughout the video.

I think I realized something... Lunar Rock is basically the same color as the 4xOverland "Troopy"

I was curious how this retro green would look with some retro racing stripes.... It's hard to ignore the potential performance gains from racing stripes.

I love how the cav patch also takes up unnecessary real estate in this post. Lol.

Cause people thought it was Calvary Blue, not Cavalry Blue. They didn’t want to be driving around in a reminder of the crucifixion of Christ.......y’know, outta respect.

My buddy does tint and all that. He says he'll do it when I have the windows tinted and the headlights, nose and tailgate get clear bra.

I think it looks great in person. I was picking up parts, sat next to this Tundra for 30 min just looking at it, considering trading in my pro. Really close in doing so. If I had a family and needed something bigger I'd would have pulled the trigger.
