Nice weather today in Texas, so I installed my Lund screenfront grill insert. Instructions are pretty simple and clear, I decided to remove the grill from the truck to make the install easier.

There are a total of 18 fasteners that hold the grill in place. The overall fit was good, just a little minor adjusting with the fasteners to get everything to line up nicely (see fasteners circled in red).

I did not tighten the locking nylon nuts all the way down, did anyboy else do that during the install? Instructions said to hand-tighten only.

Not the best photos, I need to wash the truck and take some better ones.

Like the look. What did you put where the Toyota emblem originally was though? Cant quite make it out.

The 18 fasteners is a pretty good idea too. Although its probably more of a pain when installing I had a replacement grill like this on a previous pickup, and due to not having enough fasteners the grill eventually warped. How much did that run you if you dont mind me asking?

Ordered from truckcustomizers.com and total was $56.41 shipped, the lowest price I was able find.

The emblem is a split-face gorilla, the mascot for my college (Pittsburg State University). I was inspired by the devil horns that I had seen on this website. I'm going to work on a new one using my current avatar pic and see how it turns out.
