Hey guys, somone know the maximum lift on factory UpperControl Arms? I already installed TRD Tacoma Lift Kit Front shocks part numbers: (PTR13-35210-FR) and for the rear sides part number (PTR13-35210-RR). These kit supposed to lift 2inches on front and 1.5inches on rear side. I’m planning to add a 2inch Spacers on front and add 1 leaf spring on rear side. Do I have to change the brake lines too?

That’s a recipe for problems. Typical lift is 2 to 2 1/2 inches. Depending on alignment you might need upper control arms at that height. You don’t want to put spacer pucks on top of a lifted coil spring as that will really put the geometry out of wack. For higher lifts, there’s drop brackets which involve cutting the cross member.

Thanks, did you know max the tire size the Truck can handle with a 2 in front and 1.5 in rear lift? I’m thinking to left the truck with this lift kit, but I want to make her look more big.

I have a 3.5in lift in the front from the bilstein 5100s and Toytec lift coils. I’m on stock UCAs. UCAs are expensive and I put them aside on the shopping list while working on other projects. You’ll be fine. Not a big deal but nice to have.

For tire reference, I have 33s and still scrub while turning on slopes in reverse even after trimming. It will be much worse on a 2 inch unless you do a lot of cutting.

Spacers on lifts always mean maxed out arms. Drives like butt. All up travel zero downtravel.
