Great pics. I am confused on your route by some of the pics, did you go in from Poison Springs and out at Hans Flat?

I thought it was the opposite. :notsure:

Although I'm somewhat curious why you guys didn't choose to take the road in from Hite to the Maze being you were already there.

We needed gas so we went up to Hanksville for fuel as we did not realize Hite had fuel  That would have been good to know at the time..

anyways, we went in at Hans Flat and camped at happy canyon. From there went south via Flint, Lands end, and out Cove canyon. Then back in via Poison Springs and to The Maze overlook. Then back south and did the Doll House. Then out the Doll house and out Hans Flat and took the dirt route to Green River.

Our photos haven't gotten to the Doll house yet.

Gas yes. Anything else is pretty sparse at the Hite store. Been a long while since anything happened in Hite, UT I think.

And wow, you guys did about everything there is to do in the Maze. I'd be curious about that road that goes way up North by the Green River, sounds like the only thing you didn't hit. Haven't heard much about that, but it would be a really long out and back.

Yea we stopped at the ranger station to ask them about it and saw it was 86?? Ish miles and said fuck it. Dirt is better then pavement. Was nice. Super chill but pretty in places.

Yea we did a lot! Would have made it to panorama point too our last day had the night before gone differently.

Id love to go back and do more hiking though. Place is pretty awesome.

Hanksville isn't much either haha. But we did get our last groceries there before going into Hans flat.

We really Coulda used the gas when we came out of cove canyon the next day.

I thought our hike down the Maze Overlook trail to the Harvest Scene was the highlight of the trip.

I'll be back there sooner than later.

X2 lots more hiking to be had out there.

Was the big washout on Poison Springs fixed? Maybe 5 miles east of the Dirty Devil.

Yes it was. I guess they fixed it two weeks before we got there. We where the "first" people to run it according to the Rangers. They hadn't even been able to go check it so we told them it was good.

Great photos! Didn't know you guys went during RT.

Was this sign off of the Cove Canyon section? There looked to be a bunch of slots right off of the trail in that area, one section we didn't make it to.
