Hi guys. I have installed MLED 2.0 in my 2005 tundra. Same issue only low or high works at a given time. So I went ahead and ordered the Lumawerx as suggested. It didn't work for me. Here's how I have hooked 'em up.
Lumawerx male connector into factory female then connecting this module into the MLED splitter High into Hi beam and low into low beam and ground connection into the body of the vehicle.

Let me know your thoughts please!

    waiting anxiously

Make sure you have the plugs connected correctly because they can be flipped in either direction. If they’re in the wrong orientation it’ll blow the 10amp headlight fuse and you’ll lose either the high beam or low beam.

I have the polarity correct its just the high beams dont work. When you actuate them the headlights just shut off. I was just wondering if theres a solution without using a Motocontrol. Im going to suggest the kit come with one because these projectors have definitely not been "plug& play"

Ok, so the way the stock circuit works keeps a constant hot to the headlight and switches the ground for either the high beam circuit or low beam circuit.

Projectors (both HID and LED) primarily function by keeping your output constant, and just actuating a shield up and down (up for high, down for low). This shield is what creates the cutoff line and prevents you from blinding people with full brightness. Your low beams and high beams are the exact same intensity.

This means that you need to keep the stock low beam ground active when you activate the high beam ground. The stock system will switch the low beam ground off when you switch to high.
I'm guessing you can get your high beams to work if you pull the stalk backwards to "flash" the high beams right? This is the way to allow both grounds to be active at the same time.

The motocontrol harness will correct the issue and is needed on any projector setup that uses a high beam solenoid.

EDIT: I upgraded my fiance's Hyundai Accent to use OEM projectors without any type of motocontrol harness. I had to build my own harness, but all I needed to do was connect the HIGH BEAM ground to the LOW BEAM ground with a diode (one that can handle the power of the low beam). I used this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BVWNV5P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8

Power flows from the common 12V+ of the headlight connector to headlight bulb (LED in your case) to ground of the Low beam connector pin. When switched to high beam, power flows from 12V+ common of the headlight connector to your headlight and then to your high beam ground. Add this diode from the high beam ground to the low beam ground and now power can flow to ground at the high beam and low beam only when the high beam is activated.

Perhaps the lumawerx box isn't outputting enough current or voltage on the corrected highbeam + leg of the circuit? I'd check both the lowbeam and highbeam circuits with it plugged in. Maybe either the lumawerx pod or the driver has a fault.

I used the Motocontrol harness and that didn’t solve my issues. My headlights started blinking and flashing like I was at a disco. It turns out I had the polarity wrong and blew a fuse. My MLED 2.0s are currently working plugged directly into the factory harness

Double check your headlight fuses. If they’re both good try using the Motocontrol harness. If you need one let me know since I have an extra one in the garage.

Did you do anything else before you plugged them into the factory harness?

Nope! I had the LED drivers hooked up to the Motocontrol but had the polarity mixed up so that blew the high beam fuse. Once I disconnected the Motocontrol, replaced the fuse, and corrected the polarity everything works and I don’t have any issues.

I used 2x LumaWerx H4/9003 Switching Ground Polarity Module... plugged directly into the factory plugs and into the MLED box.
