    Have you checked that the throttle moves freely? And closes completely also?

    Sounds like the throttle is stuck to me.

    manual swap in progress
    Did you re-attach that vacuum hoses that go to the vsv's in the engine bay that go to the front diff?
    check all the vacuum hoses since you pulled the motor, and brake booster hose etc... sounds like a very large leak to idle that high.

    Finally finished. Damn! The throttle was stuck open. Now its little nit noid shit I have to go back over and adjust. But it's running. I'm happy with the outcome

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
    1) Used a wire brush attachment on my electric drill and removed any flaking old paint or any surface rust from gravel rash.
    2) Primed with Rust Oleum a self-etching primer for areas where I removed the old finish.
    3) Painted the outside with Black Gloss Rust Oleum Farm Implement paint.

    The truck has not been or will never be exposed to salt.

    I'm in colorado. So its dry enough here I dont have to worry about undercarriage protection
