Support Windows Machines all day. Go home to Mac's. Won't buy another Windows PC unless I can hack OSX on it.

I have a MacBook and a Latitude D630 running Leopard.

    I have:
    1- macbook pro
    2- 20" iMac
    2- 24" iMac

I was scared to try a mac but when I did and got use to it it's actually a lot easier to use than a PC. I've NEVER had ANY problems with Apple products.

One reason they are more expensive is they use better parts on the inside.

Not really true. It's standard PC hardware. It's just that it's one hardware set for the whole OS. It's similar to if Windows was only made for Dells.

Why would a hack write a bug for 10% of computer world. If roles reversed you'd see the Mac attacked on the same level

Mac is a closed system. A closed system is more of a monopoly. They don't have 80% of market so theyre not going to be subjected to anti monopoly lawsuits.

Desktop-XP no problems in 3 years
    Laptop=Vista sucks, too much overhead
Macs are premiere boxes for image manipulation, business apps-pc, games-pc

I use PC for almost 15 years, I just start to learn how to use LINUX. I like Linux.... but need time to learn it.

Mac is just a far superior product. Once you get use to a Mac they are a helluva lot easier to use than a PC.

The price isn't that bad when you have a wife who works for Apple. :)

    9 Macs Here

    1 iBook G4
    1 PowerMac G5 Dual Core
    2 X 17" iMac G4
    3 X 24" iMac Aluminum
    1 X MacBook 15"
    1 X MacBook Pro 15" Aluminum Unibody

    In that order :D

    Use them for work :)

PC's Are also great computers though. Personally I love the Mac OS better than Windows and how easy it is to back up my Macs and restore when a disaster hits.

Ex-hardcore PC user, got tired of viruses, spyware and malware.

    Dual quad 3.0ghz Mac Pro/4gb/8800gt
    iMac 2.4ghz
    MB Air 1.8 SSD
    Mac Mini 1.66ghz
    2 Dell Mini 9s hacked with 10.5.6

XP is on the Mac Pro and iMac. Only used for Solidworks 2008 SP3 and harder to rip dvd encryptions, and never connected to the internet unless there are updates.

Desktop PC Acer quad core with 4G DDR2, nvidia 9600 graphic card dvr-i dual , and 7.2 digi optical out for that bump, also a clean install of vista .Just bought laptop as well aspire 19 dual core 4GDDR3 nvid 9600gt stock,5.1 built in .Armed to the teeth![My opinion] Vista (sp1) with office 07 enterprise is hands down the best os ever for its function ,a business computer with massive networking capabilities . That said ,windows will never catch mac in form function or design and a mac pro workstation is just fng awsome and media management is seemless out of box . I would buy a 19 inch mac no questions asked if newegg sold them for 799 OTD that simple.

At work it's windows and Linux. I don't think I'll ever buy another windows machine, unless it's to wipe out to run Linux.

I've got an HP at home, 5GB of RAM, 750GB hard drive, and I cant remember the rest of the specs right now. I use it for music production/recording and my wife uses it for her digital media work. I also have a compaq laptop that's pretty wimpy but I only use it to connect my digital audio interface..

Well I have 2 Windows desktops and 2 Windows laptops, as well as a MacBook. I voted for PC though because it's what I prefer and have more of.
