Hey all, anybody have a shop that could cut down a hitch? I have a WD hitch on my Tundra and it's about 1/4" to tall to lower the tailgate. I'm sure I can take a cutting wheel and spend a long ass time doing it, but I know it'll look like sh*t. I'd rather take it to a pro to cut and sand and make it nice. It's not structural and the amount coming off wouldn't get close to where the trailer is connected.

Yes, I'm thinking of just cutting off the top hole would be the easiest. I really need only half of the top hole, if that, gone.

A couple cut off wheels on a grinder would be the easiest and cheapest. Then use a walter flap disc on it to make it smooth and bevel the edges.
