The head gasket is going on my 2.7 and I would love a recommendation for a good machine shop in San Diego. I'm gojng to be pulling the head myself, just need a place the will do a valve job and replace the stem seals for me.

    Thanks in advance!

The owner let me learn at his shop when I was curious watching him work on mine. Really nice family and a amazing mechanic. If they can't fit you in there his dad owns a shop in santee and im sure they could fit you in.

I know its a bit late now but WAM in mission valley does really good work. I work on a lot of large diesel engines and we take stuff there when it needs to be machined they always do a great job. Might be worth contacting them if you havent already had the work done.

Thanks for the replies! I ended up having the head machined, pressure tested and hot tanked at D&C Machine in Kearny Mesa. $65 for it all, three day turnaround.
