I'm not sure of the brand. I bought it off a dealer on ebay. It was one of those risky buys. Haha

If it's not a WAAG, it has the same lines and dimensions. I had a WAAG on my 97 and I would have got one for my 08 had I not decided on a permanent winch mount. The good part about the WAAG and the one Mac has is the mid-rise supports that go through the lower grill area to the chassis. This stabilizes the unit over the typical eBay crap.

Did you get your tires and eagle alloys in a package, if so, from where? And also, what size are those eagle 185's? I'm looking into getting Eagle series 186.

    Thanks

No, I didn't get them in a package.

It was a good deal though. I was working with three different businesses at them same time.

One business got me my wheels and Skyjacker lift parts.

I took all of that to a good tire shop, and had the Toyo's put on the wheels, and then took all of that to the guy who does the majority of the lift in town, and had him help me get everything on and looking good.

The wheel size is 16x8 with I think a 4.5 inch backspacing or offset. I always forget which is which.

Could my 2006 Tacoma PreRunner run Eagle Series 186 16x8 with 4" backspacing?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the smaller the backspacing, the farther away it is. So, 4" is farther away from the caliper than the 4.5".

They are 16x8, and I believe it's 4.5" backspacing and 0 offset. I might be wrong. Not too sure.

I don't really know much about the 6" lifts.

I think it would look better with 35" tires.

You have to keep in mind that with a 6" lift, you are going to have to change a lot more on your truck than just the suspension.

Have to re-angle the drive shaft, extend the brake lines. It's a big job. I've heard maybe $1000 more than a 3" lift. Could be wrong. Someone correct me if I am.

    Get the 3" lift
It's so much cheaper than a 6" lift and with a 6" lift, you would want to run 35" tires and with those tires, you'd need to regear or you'd be seeing around 14 MPG (that's an estimate by the way).

In my opinion, the 3" lift is a better way to go, it's easier and cheaper than the 6" lift.
