I love the color and the truck. I hate that they don't make the dark blue anymore. Once I saw you are from P'cola, I had to keep reading. I graduated from Booker T. Washington and then moved to Tallahassee.

Where did you take the off road pics? Since it seems that everyone has off road pics, you should go out to the beach past Portofino. I bet you could get some great shots our there. I'd be afraid of getting stuck in the sand, but there was an area we called the sugar bowl back on the sound side. It was a good place to get wasted back in the day, but I bet you could get some good pictures. Also, that boat launch right when you get off 3-mile bridge in GB. I remember getting some good pics of my car there. You gotta go at the right time though...a nice sunset pic with the bay in the background....

Thanks A-hole (jk) Now I feel like I need to schedule a time to go visit my folks....

RCD makes a 4.5" lift (or close to that). There's a few people I've talked to on here that have it. I personally think anything bigger than a 3" looks retarded but thats just my opinion. I just got a Toytec 3" Ultimate lift and am about to throw on some 17x9's. Can't wait to see what it looks like. I know I don't have any pics up yet but stay tuned for some badass ones.

By far the best sounding tacoma ive heard. I went with the magnaflow cat back. not too impressed. Your headers make the truck sound more beefy.
    Good job man!

Nice looking truck. I'm in the market for a decent grill guard. Which one do you have? Does it wobble at all? One piece construction? Cheers.

It's been a long time since I've been on this forum, but I thought i would come back and write an update on the tacoma.

Here's a photo of it from a little while before I sold it.

    tacoma.jpg

By that time, I had removed several mods that grew tired of and made a few more aesthetic changes to the truck.

I chopped the dual exhaust pipes to dump just behind the rear axle.
This really cleaned up the back of the truck and fixed any dumb clearance issues I had due to installing the pipes.

I ended up taking my black eagle alloy wheels to a shop and having them sandblasted down to bare metal.
I repainted them with a high durability dark bronze paint that complimented the indigo blue color of the truck.
I was really happy with the result.

Over the span of those few years, all of my mods really held up.
But it was nice to drive something around that didn't look so crazy modded.

Thankfully I didn't leave the Toyota family when I sold my Tacoma.
Through a lucky find on a craigslist deal, I picked up a 2010 black on black on black 4Runner Trail Edition.

    4runner.jpg

The 4Runner has been a dream and I absolutely love driving it.
It has a 3" Bilstein lift sitting on black powder-coated Toyota wheels wrapped with 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Thanks for the good times here!
